Jewelers, Appraisers, People of the Trade!!
I want to take a moment to
THANK YOU ALL!!
For the wonderful support, and efforts made here at DiamondChitChat.com.
Your efforts have helped many consumers and others in the trade make sound decisions.
It’s unbiased information from Experts like yourselves that are helping individuals make better buying decisions on jewelry and loose diamonds. Not to mention all the help to those eager to learn more about the trade, how to sign up for courses on gemology, etc.
A while back, RockDoc and I had made plans for some minor upgrades/changes to DCC. It was obvious that some members that were not involved in the diamond industry would try their best to give other posters on DCC what they felt was proper feedback on subjects only few qualified and certified could answer. We always encourage end users to post their questions, make comments and voice opinions, perhaps write a testimonial about the engagement ring, or jewelry product or service received by a merchant., However when it came to specific questions concerning the trade, more specifically about cut, shape, symmetry, of stones, etc. we knew it was not appropriate that members/consumers/ end-users give advice to other members (posters). Due to the fact that they were not in the trade, and/or qualified to make such claims.
Therefore, RockDoc and I came up with a whole new strategy for DiamondChitChat.com that will enlighten consumers and end-users, at the same time authenticate the source of which the feedback is coming from. This will guarantee the consumer has better knowledge before making any future recommendations for a service or product.
As of this week we will be eliminating all old signatures from the members account, and replacing it with a graphic signature which titles what industry/ position your business is in. This will help eliminate those first time posters who pop a URL and expect free clicks
and then never return to the diamond forum to make any contributions. This also knocks off spammers who have tried using this forum to promote their knock off bags, clothes, etc.
The new signatures can be customizable for an extra fee, however all standard signatures will include a direct link to your business website, as well as your email. All pricing will be available to you upon request if you private message me or send an email myself at greg@diamondchitchat.com
Those members that have made a substantial contribution ( min. 400 posts) to DCC will be awarded a better rate. These signatures are renewable yearly, and the perk to having a signature also entitles you to unlimited sales leads from MultiJewelerSearch.com for the full year and other sites within our network. For the Appraisers, the signature buys you a directory listing at DiamondTutorials.com directory. If you’re not signed here, you will no longer be listed on DiamondTutorials.com. Signatures are available for the following professions,
Authorized Dealer, Certed Appraiser, Gemologist, Insurance Broker, Diamond Trade, Wedding Trade. If I’m missing a profession please let me know. You’re feedback is always welcomed :)
Pricing is in the range of $95 to $325 per year, pending on the package plan, for more detailed info, and pricing private message or email me at greg@diamondchitchat.com
Best regards,
Sapphire
